Tim cannot accept donations over $500 a person or $1,000 a couple. We must also have the name, address and phone number of all those who donate and must have employer information for those who donate over $100 per person.

Under the Minnesota Political Contribution Refund Program, contributors (Minnesota residents like you) who donate to legislative candidates who agree to abide by certain spending and contribution limits (that’s me) receive a Dollar-for-Dollar Refund of their contribution of up to $50 per person or $100 per couple. It’s a program established to encourage donations and increased political participation by more Minnesotans, and to keep campaigns relatively affordable for most people of modest means.

You loan our campaign $50 per person or $100 per couple and in a few weeks you receive a check refunding the amount. You also have the option of having your donation refunded electronically which is even faster!
